We created STORED to offer people both a cheaper and easier way to store their things.
That’s why we’re priced cheaper than self-storage & we provide pick-ups and returns of your items, to take out all the hassle.
We are unable to guarantee returns within the first 3 weeks of storage and we charge on a monthly basis. The return has to be booked from your online account only after the inventory is uploaded, this can take up to 14 days from the initial collection.
STORED was launched with a key mission - making storage as easy & cost-effective as it possibly can be. That's why we:
1) Operate without the Hidden Costs commonly associated with self-storage companies such move-in fees, padlock fees etc.
2) Provide monthly storage prices instead of weekly prices. Self-storage companies tend to advertise weekly rates, but still charge monthly, meaning that you'll need to multiply any rates by 4.2 to get what you're actually paying. We don't believe in trying to hide any prices from our competitors, so we show what you'll actually be paying.
3) Our prices always include VAT. Many self-storage companies show prices without having added the VAT, but of course you always have to pay this. This is an attempt to look cheaper than they actually are, something we don't think is right.

As part of our storage service, we provide heavily discounted pick-ups and returns.
The longer you store, the cheaper the pick-up and the return. If you store for 6 months plus we offer free pick ups. If you store for a shorter period, you will still benefit from heaviliy discounted prices.

We also provide 15% off your first month if you are a student who is storing for a minimum of 3 months. Please note that this discount cannot be used together with our long-term discount. We barcode your items up and you can add descriptions to these items to have them stored on your online inventory.

The best way to help us do a quick and efficient job of picking up or returning your items is firstly to make sure that you are at the property to let our team in during the agreed time-slot. If we are running late or any reason, our team will always make sure to contact you and keep you updated with the situation.
1) Help sort out parking
A parking spot just outside your home will make sure that our staff can perform a quick and efficient job. It's the customer's responsibility to provide parking.
2) Ensure we have all the right information
If you are having a collection, you will receive a ‘pre-arrival survey’ to fill in up to 48 hours prior to your collection. Our team will need this form completed in order to be fully prepared and to ensure a smooth collection process.
When our team arrives, they will start labelling each individual item with a barcode and a general description (e.g. cardboard box) so that you have a complete online inventory of what you have in storage.
We create your inventory on site to avoid any miscommunication in what is being accounted for in the inventory. The team will then present you with a collection sheet. You will need to check the sheet and make sure that all items due for collection have been recorded; finally, you will be asked to sign your collection sheet.
Once the sheet has been signed, this is a confirmation from yourself that all items have been collected & accounted for. If you require a specific description for your items, please ask our team to write it down for you.
Your items will then be loaded into the van to be taken to the warehouse. When you no longer require storage, simply book in the return delivery of your stored items by login into your My Pages.
When you are having a return, the team will present you with a return sheet. You will need to check the sheet and make sure that all items due for return have been accounted for and then sign the sheet. Once the sheet has been signed, this is confirmation from yourself that all items have been returned to you & accounted for.
The more notice you give for your return, the cheaper it is!
If you're storing for more than 2 months:
We have a Guaranteed Return Price of £49 if you give at least 14 days notice.
If you provide at least 7 days notice, the cost is £119 and if you need a last-minute return and give less than 7 days notice, the return will be £199.
If you're a short-term storer, storing for less than 2 months:
We have a Guaranteed Return Price of £109 if you give at least 14 days notice.
If you provide at least 7 days notice, the cost is £179 and if you need a last-minute return and give less than 7 days notice, the return is £259.

Our packing service costs only £49 per 30 minutes started.
Each unit size comes with a set amount of free loading time:
Over 100 sq ft, speak to one of our storage consultants on 020 3637 1234 and they will be able to help you build a suitable package for your storage needs.
If you go over your allocated free loading time, the team will still complete the job for you. However, their time is charged at £49 per 30 minutes started.
The best way to avoid the extra charges is to make sure there is parking available as close to your property as possible and you are present at the property when our team arrives. You can also try to make sure the items are easily accessible for our team and limit restrict access from your property to the parking area.
You can also pre-pay for extra loading time. This costs just £29 per 30 minutes and is non-refundable.
Once you've made a booking for a storage collection, sit back and relax.
Our professional movers will come to your home and collect your items from inside your home. If you need packing assistance or packing materials, just let us know before hand via our chat!
Our returns work the same way and your items will be returned to your home, and if you need unpacking help or rubbish removal, simply let us know beforehand!
Our team of 2 removal specialists is unable to collect items that are heavier than 25kg, including boxes.
You will need to request an extra team for heavier items. You can do this when completing your pre-arrival form or by emailing us at service@bystored.com
Alternatively, you can choose to have a large piece of furniture dismantled by yourself or by our team so that its parts can be loaded and labelled separately.

The maximum return price for delivery to London zone 1-2 and 3, surrey, Brighton, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Eastbourne, and Canterbury is £318 when the delivery is booked to the same area as your first collection (e,g. Collection from Brighton, return to Brighton).
We can collect & return to any address within **London, Surrey, Brighton, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Eastbourne, and Canterbury; however, should you need a return to a different area from where your collection was first actioned (e.g. collection from London, return to Brighton) you will need to contact us in advance to request a separate return quote.
**Outside of London zone 3, there are surcharges included on top of your collection and return fee which may vary based on the date and time slot selected:
Please note that extra charges for returns outside London zone 3 are not included in the price shown on your account when you request your return; however, the final price will be included in your return confirmation email.

You can spend up to 14 days unpacking the crates. You can arrange a crate collection Monday to Friday between 9am-6pm by logging into your STORED account and selecting 'Request Packing materials / Do you want crates delivered to you or collected from you?'.
Crates collection cost £29 for postcodes within London zone 1-3 and Surrey, Brighton, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Eastbourne, and Canterbury. If you don’t arrange a collection in order to return them to us by then, you’ll be charged a fee per crate of £25 (including VAT). We've made it easy, simply:

If you're still unsure and worried about needing a larger unit, don't worry - we'll automatically upgrade your unit if you have more items than you thought.

If you haven't submitted your pre-arrival form before the 48 hours prior to pick up deadline, please submit it as soon as possible!
Your subscription is a rolling contract that helps you take your items out of storage according to your ease. Likewise, if you wish to extend your period, the storage unit is yours until you book a full return.
Yes. We provide the facility of enrolling in a subscription too.
As you complete the booking, you will receive an order summary from STORED, which will include the terms of your booking and the relevant attachments. Once you add your card details to your STORED account, your booking will be confirmed. And that too 72 hours before the collection date.
First of all, you are in great hands with our professional movers!
If you want them to take care of all the packing, bring packing materials etc - just let us know in the chat below and they'll take care of eveything for you!
Secondly, if you already have boxes and protective materials, do pack your stuff well. Don't put too much into each moving box to ensure the box isnt too heavy.
Thirdly, provide all the relevant information to our team in the pre-arrival form. This ensures we are fully prepared to pick up your stuff and we'll be able to do fast and securrely!
Our team will arrive between the time slot agreed with your booking. You will receive a text message in the morning reminding you or your collection/return. The team will call you approximately 30 minutes before arrival if you have provided us with a UK telephone number.
Alternatively, we will not call you or email you before arrival; however, we will of course try to make contact with you should you not answer the intercom when they arrive at your property.
If you are not at the collection address upon the team’s arrival, they will wait for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, after 10 minutes they will have to move on to their next job of the day to keep in line with our pre-booked schedule.
Please note that a failed collection fee of £59 will be applied. If you cancel the collection on the same day and do not reschedule this, we will charge you one month’s fee.
On the rare occasion that factors outside of our control make us late, we will always contact you in advance to make you aware. So please make sure you have provided us with a valid UK contact number for the day.

When booking your collection and storage on our website, simply select if you wish to store for up to or more than 6 months; choose your storage unit’s size based on the total volume of the items that you wish to store with us, select your preferred arrival date for collection, confirm your personal details including your card details.
You will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your booking.
To amend the details in your pre-arrival form, including the list of items to be collected from you , simply re-fill in the form at the link provided and resend it to us. We will get back to you with a confirmation email. Should you be unable to re-send the form or if the form is expired, email us at service@bystored.com. Our team customer service team will amend the details for you. Please note that the final form needs to be sent to us 48 hours before your collection date.
If you would like to downgrade or upgrade your storage unit's size, email us at service@bystored.com.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide parking for our team. Due to the number of jobs our teams perform each day, we are unable to source parking at your property on your behalf.
If we were to receive a parking fine during the time, we are at your property we would unfortunately have to pass on any costs to you

If you have a collection/return booked in with us, you need to make sure that yourself or someone you trust is available at the property to let our team in during the agreed time-slot.
If we are running late or any reason, our team will always make sure to contact you and keep you updated with the situation.
It is also the customer’s responsibility to secure parking near the property for the team on the day.
If you are having a collection, you will receive a ‘pre-arrival survey’ to fill in up to 48 hours prior to your collection. Our team will need this form completed in order to be fully prepared and to ensure a smooth collection process.
Here you can tell us what needs to be collected, if you require an extra service such as packing and/or dismantling or which packing materials you would like to purchase from us.
When they arrive, they will start labelling each individual item with a barcode and a general description (e.g. cardboard box) so that you have a complete online inventory of what you have in storage.
We create your inventory on site to avoid any miscommunication in what is being accounted for in the inventory. The team will then present you with a collection sheet. You will need to check the sheet and make sure that all items due for collection have been recorded; finally, you will be asked to sign your collection sheet.
Once the sheet has been signed, this is a confirmation from yourself that all items have been collected & accounted for. If you require a specific description for your items, please ask our team to write it down for you.
Your items will then be loaded into the van to be taken to the warehouse. When you no longer require storage, simply book in the return delivery of your stored items by login into your STORED account
When you are having a return, the team will present you with a return sheet. You will need to check the sheet and make sure that all items due for return have been accounted for and then sign the sheet. Once the sheet has been signed, this is confirmation from yourself that all items have been returned to you & accounted for.
Generally speaking, we cannot. However, if you have a handful of boxes that would make up a 12sqft unit, you can always give us a call on 020 3637 1234 and we will try our best to help.

No, the full price of your storage agreement will be quoted to you – in writing – prior to your collection taking place.

We are unable to guarantee returns within the first 3 weeks of storage and we charge on a monthly basis. The return has to be booked from your online account only after the inventory is uploaded, this can take up to 14 days from the initial collection.
The cost of storage depends on two main factors. The duration of storage and its size.
We offer a rolling monthly subscription.
When making your booking, we will take down the card details that you would like to have on file with us. You'll have to add your card details up to 72 hours before your collection date, alternatively your booking will be cancelled. No storage fee is charged upfront. But if you have booked any of our services add-ons, such as pre-paid loading time or a crate drop, we will charge this upfront to your card.
After your collection has been completed, we will charge your first month’s storage fee.
You will then be charged on the same date as your collection each month that you store with us for.

If this still doesn’t cover what you owe we will serve you with a written notice to pay all outstanding monies due within 7 days and interest will continue to accrue until the balance is paid in full.
If you fail to pay within two months of the amount being charged, your items will be removed from storage and recycled. You will still be liable to pay all the outstanding amounts owed to us
In respect of all sums that are overdue to us we charge interest on a daily basis (4% per annum above the prevailing base rate for the time being of the bank of England). If you fail to pay, we’ll give you a 30-day written notice to settle all outstanding sums due. After this, if we are still unsuccessful in taking payment, we’ll, unfortunately, be forced to dispose of some or all of your items by whatever means available to us.
We will however credit any excess as a result of this disposal to your account less an administration fee of £25 and any other reasonable costs incurred in connection with the disposal.
Unfortunately, if for some reason we cannot charge you at the scheduled time, we’ll be forced to take out an administrative fee to cover our costs of dealing with this.
If it’s a simple matter of a failed transaction (including if the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise the payment), we’ll charge you an administration fee of £25 on the first failure and an administrative fee of £50 on each subsequent failure to pay.
No, we cannot guarantee a specific time at which we'll arrive. All our time slots are 9am-6pm. However, we always do our best to inform customers of rough windows the night before and then the driver team will get in contact when they are roughly 30 minutes away!
If you have rented one or more crates from us we will leave them with you when returning your items, unless you ask our removal team to collect them on the day. You can spend up to 14 days unpacking the crates. You can arrange a crate collection Monday to Friday between 9 am-6 pm by logging into your STORED account and selecting 'Request Packing materials / Do you want crates delivered to you or collected from you?'.
Crates collection cost £29 for postcodes within London zone 1-3 and Surrey, Brighton, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Eastbourne, and Canterbury. If you don’t arrange a collection in order to return them to us by then, you’ll be charged a fee per crate of £25 (including VAT). You can also tell us that you wish to purchase them by informing us at service@bystored.com.
If you store for less than one month this pricing structure is not applicable.
You will need to contact us by email to service@bystored.com 2 weeks from your return date to be entitled to a refund. The refund will be actioned within 7 days after we have returned your items. If no refund request is received 2 weeks before your return date we won't be able to action this.
We do not offer pro-rata rates. However, if you have your items returned up to 5 days into the new storage month, we will refund you 50% of your monthly storage fee. If you have your items returned between 6-14 days into the new storage month, we will refund 25% of your storage fee.
Anything over 14 days incurs the full month’s charge. These days are counted starting from your subscription renewal date and including the day of your return.
In short, yes you can. However, if you have received a discounted storage rate dependant on your length of storage, we will recoup the discounted amount from your storage fees based on the discount value and how many months you have stored with us.
For example, if your monthly rate has been discounted by £20 each month because you agreed to store with us for a minimum of 6 months, however, you end up storing with us for 4 months, we will recoup £80 from your account before completing your return.

Not at all. Our teams will do everything for you! They will come right up to your door and begin loading the items from wherever you have left them.
With returns, our teams will deliver the items straight into your property.
Please inform us 48 hours in advance if there is restricted access to your property e.g. broken or no lift / no parking space, or if you need an extra team for a larger and heavier item.
A parking spot just outside your home will make sure that our staff can perform a quick and efficient job. It's the customer's responsibility to provide parking. Please see our terms & conditions for further info.
We have a list of the items that you have requested for delivery but in order to make sure the delivery runs smoothly and you are happy that all of your requested items have been returned, we recommend that you check each item off a list also.
You can download this list from your login area at www.bystored.com. Please remember that once you have signed the delivery sheet you have taken responsibility for every item on the list and have signed to say that it has been safely delivered.
It is very important that you take the time to check items off against the inventory list before you sign the return sheet. Once the return sheet has been signed, liability for any lost or damaged items lies with the customer. On the very rare occasion that a customer finds such issues with their items, you must make our team aware before signing the return sheet.
The return has to be booked from your online account, only after the inventory is uploaded; this can take up to 14 days from the initial collection. We are unable to guarantee returns within the first 3 weeks of storage.
Please contact us regarding availability for Saturday deliveries since we require at least 3 weeks' notice and there is a surcharge of £59.
We can action a maximum of 3 returns a month; if you need any further returns, please contact us directly to discuss.
All our customers get a return time slot depending on the one selected, with our delivery agents able to arrive at any point during this slot. If they are unable to get hold of you, they will wait a maximum of I0 minutes and then be forced to cancel the appointment and unfortunately will need to charge for a failed appointment fee of £59.

All units include a complimentary 30 mins of unloading by two removal experts. If you require unpacking assistance or more unloading time, we happily provide this at a charge of £49 per every started 30 minutes. Please note, any pre- paid unpacking/reassembly time is NOT refundable.

These items are prohibited for storage for the safety of all our customers and staff members. If we find any of these items in storage, they will be removed and discarded without being issued a warning. Further, we hold every right to search your remaining items as well.

A higher pre-authorisation fee will be applied for the bookings that require two teams or the work of more than eight man-hours.

Secondly, if you already have boxes and protective materials, do pack your stuff well. Don't put too much into each moving box to ensure the box isnt too heavy.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow any other persons to access your STORED account or book in collections/returns on the customers behalf unless we have written permission via email from the customer using the email address that we have on file. To arrange this you can email us at service@bystored.com and CC the trusted person.
Our professional removal teams take the utmost care of your belongings, moving these in and out of our van and then handing these over to our warehouse staff.
Once they’ve reached the warehouse, they are one-by-one moved into your unit and then entered into our asset management system. Please let us know if there are any items that you prefer not to be stacked.
Our operations team will then upload your storage inventory within 7 working days to your STORED account which you can view online. You can also add comments for each of your items.

We have revolutionised the storage industry by taking the hassle out of self storage.
Our professional movers come to your home & collect your items, so you never need to visit a storage warehouse ever again. They can also help you pack & disassemble furniture (for free) and bring packing materials along.
When you want your items returned, simply book a return on your online account and we will return one, some or all of your items back to the same or a different address to what we picked up from.
To get started, all you need to do is select a date and time for when you want us to come to your home and collect the items you want to put into storage.
Your inventory will be readily accessible and available to check your STORED account. You can log in through our website. However, it can take up to 14 working days for our team to upload your inventory.

The safest way to store your items is to use our purpose-produced packing materials.
You can simply add the packing materials that you need when placing your storage pick-up from us or contact us on service@bystored.com
You will be charged on the day that we pick up your items and your storage subscription will be charged monthly on the same day the months after until your items are returned.

To book a return of one, some or all of your items, log into My Pages and select "Return Item" & the return option that best suits your needs.
The more notice you give for your return, the cheaper it is!
If you need to change your booking, that's not a problem!
Simply edit your booking details on your My Pages.

Don't worry if you have slightly more stuff than you thought - we can automatically upgrade your unit size depending on what we pick up from you.

2) Select a pick-up slot.
We offer a wide range of pick-up slots, so that you can book one that works for you!
Finally, we offer free cancellations on your bookings, so you can have full confidence in placing a booking with us, even if your circumstances change.
